An evaluation of a site for a specific purpose, measured against a set of 20 criteria to determine overall suitability
Catchment Area Definition
Determination of primary and secondary catchment areas, including income levels, modes of transport, competing centers / stores, and future residential and business developments
A comprehensive assessment of a site’s market potential for a particular purpose, with estimates of likely sales and the amount of space warranted
A listing of tenants recommended for the proposed development with guidelines as to individual sizes.
Land Use Assessment
An overall rating of the site’s merits for a range of development options.
Network Development Plan
An assessment of a retail operators development potential within the desired area (e.g. region, country etc.) with sales potentials and warranted space per recommended location
Store Assessment Programme
An assessment of all stores within a retail chain to identify norms and targets, and set guidelines in terms of store location, sizing, staff levels, stock levels and rentals in order to optimize performance.
Strategic Market Positioning
Identifying the client's positioning and that of its major competitors using our universal Consumer Lifestyle Model, and providing recommendations in terms of the company’s relative strengths and weaknesses.
The DPA Team consists of well qualified and highly experienced professionals in commerce, store network development, consumer research, economics, geographical information systems, and urban planning. They provide in depth analysis relevant to specific chains, sites and developments, using their own proven proprietary models and techniques.
Has an honours degree in Business Science and a master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning, with over 30 years work experience, much of it in the retail field, and covering many countries throughout Africa
B.Com Honours degree and extensive experience in all aspects of retail and property research.
A recognised retail strategist who has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Industrial Organisation & Management, with 10 years’ experience in retail management with the Edcon group and over 30 years’ as a consultant with DPA
She has many years of experience in call center management, data capture and data processing.
General Manager of the South African office, has a master’s degree in Social Science and ten years’ experience in retail and real estate market research with DPA
With over ten years’ experience with DPA in business intelligence, field management and mystery shopping.
Has a bachelor’s degree in Social science and is our business development manager in New Zealand, with extensive experience in sales, marketing and customer relations
